About Our School

Cambridge English Excellence

Loyola College Cambridge School was established in 2024 through the collective efforts of Rev. Fr. Nalaka Perera, Director of the Cambridge School and Primary School Principal of Loyola College, together with the blessings of Rev. Fr. Chaminda Jayalath, Rector of Loyola College, and the valued support of the Loyola College community.

Founded with the vision of providing high-quality English language education aligned with Cambridge English standards, the school offers structured preparation for internationally recognized Cambridge English examinations. The programmes are designed to develop learners’ skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, while fostering confidence and effective communication.

With experienced teachers, continuous assessment, and a supportive learning environment, Loyola College Cambridge School has grown into a trusted center for Cambridge English preparation.

We prepare students according to Cambridge English assessment standards.

RECTOR'S MESSAGE

Message from the Rector

Welcome to the Loyola College Cambridge School Website.

Loyola College, established in 2003 with just three teachers and 65 students, has grown steadily through dedication, faith, and a strong commitment to quality education. In 2024, we marked an important milestone with the establishment of the Cambridge School as a new branch of the College.

This initiative reflects our vision to offer an internationally recognized curriculum while remaining firmly rooted in the values and teachings of Jesus. It is encouraging to note that the Cambridge School has already been met with a strong and positive response, reflecting the confidence placed in our college.

At Loyola, we continue to focus on the holistic development of our students, guiding them to achieve academic excellence while nurturing character, responsibility, and compassion.

May God bless you all.

FROM THE DIRECTOR'S DESK

Welcome to Loyola College Cambridge School

Welcome to Loyola College Cambridge School (CSLC).

At CSLC, we recognise that education today must prepare students not only for examinations, but for life beyond the classroom.

As a Cambridge-focused institution, we carefully guide our students through internationally recognised pathways such as YLE, KET, PET, FCE, C1, C2, IELTS, and TKT. These are not merely qualifications; they are milestones in a learner’s journey towards confidence, clarity, and global competence.

Yet, we believe that true preparation goes deeper. Language is not only about grammar or vocabulary—it is about expression, understanding, and meaningful connection. Therefore, while we train our students to succeed in these examinations, we also form in them the ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and engage with the world with confidence.

Each student who comes to us carries a unique ability. Our task is to recognise that ability and nurture it with patience and care. We do not rush the process of learning; rather, we guide it with purpose. In this way, success becomes not a pressure, but a natural outcome of disciplined and meaningful growth.

Our teachers are deeply committed to this vision, and together with the support of parents, we create an environment where learning is structured, supportive, and transformative. Here, students are encouraged not only to achieve high results, but to develop a sense of responsibility, self-confidence, and personal identity.

In a world that is increasingly interconnected, our mission is to prepare students who can stand with competence and communicate with confidence, while remaining grounded in values and human sensitivity.

I warmly invite you to join us in this journey of growth, excellence, and meaningful learning.
