Loyola Cambridge School is pleased to announce that the upcoming Cambridge English examinations will be held on Saturday, 26 September 2026, at the premises of Loyola College.
The examination session will bring together students preparing for internationally recognised Cambridge English qualifications, providing them with an important opportunity to demonstrate their English language skills in a formal examination environment.
The Cambridge YLE examinations are designed for young learners and help children build confidence in using English while developing their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
The YLE examinations include three levels:
Pre A1 Starters
A1 Movers
A2 Flyers
These examinations provide a progressive pathway for young learners as they develop their English proficiency.
The Cambridge A2 Key (KET) examination is designed to assess practical English skills at the A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The examination evaluates students’ ability to communicate in everyday situations through skills including Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking.
Successfully completing this level represents an important milestone for students continuing their English language journey.
The Cambridge B1 Preliminary (PET) examination assesses English ability at the B1 level of the CEFR.
Students taking PET demonstrate their ability to understand and communicate using English in a range of familiar everyday situations. The examination develops the four key language skills:
Reading
Writing
Listening
Speaking
PET is an important step for students progressing towards higher-level Cambridge English qualifications.
